I only wish I was there to witness this! I'd love to share a couple words with this individual. I was parking my bike in the bike compound... (Thanks Humvee for the free bike!) I opened the lock to the compound and noticed that ... ... If you look carefully you see the boltcutter imprint in the metal. I wonder what/who spooked the crook, but I wish it was me. Moral of the story. Lock your bikes in the compound!!

Another After Work SURPRISE!

First there was Home From Work? SURPRISE Then came Off Work.. SURPRISE Today was part three in what I hope is only a trilogy in this Saga. Sorry. No photo to accompany this post, as there's nothing to photograph. When I drive to work, if the weather's okay, I'll only drive part way to work, park in free parking and then bicycle into downtown. This week was the first time I drove myself to work in months and the first time since last summer that I ditched the truck and cycled into the office. Today, all was fine aside from some bad weather. That's okay cold and a light rain was survivable on my way home from work. At work we have a locked compound to put our bikes into. When I got to the bike compound after work, I noticed that somebody took a pair of bolt cutters and cut the lock. Christmas Trees Offensive? What Are You Smoking?

Last night, while watching TV from a Maritime Channel, I saw a "News Update" during the commercials. The anchor mentioned that [don't remember the public building] had a Christmas tree standing in it. People apparently complained saying they were offended by the tree. Hello? What are you smoking? What is offensive about a Christmas Tree? In my opinion, the two most abused phrases in our language are: 1. That's Racist 2. That's Offensive The racist one is a separate issue and I won't get into that now. That's Offensive! Let's look at the meaning of Offensive.
